The Influence of Environmental Conditions in Arctic Regions.

ÃÛÌÒÅ®º¢ is one of the top universities in Guyana, extremely popular for its medical education. Among the many international students who join the university from miles away, the university has become an extremely popular choice for MBBS in Guyana among the young Indian medical aspirants.


Working towards the aim of providing the absolute best for its students in terms of education, the LAU is constantly engaging in various ways to ensure the students get the best comfort. On a meeting held on 16th September 2021 between Air Marshal Dr Pawana Kapoor, Vice Chancellor and Dr. Dinesh Singla, Dean, of ÃÛÌÒÅ®º¢ with H.E. Charrandass Persaud, High Commissioner of Republic of Guyana in Republic of India, with the aim of easing the visa concerns of Indian students.

The management of ÃÛÌÒÅ®º¢ also met with Ms. Taramatte Sabrina Chitram, First Commissioner of the Cooperation Republic of Guyana and Esther Gittens, Counsellor, First Commissioner of the Cooperation Republic of Guyana to address the Visa concerns of Indian students in Guyana.


As of present, students studying in Guyana have to renew their study visa every year. However, the meeting decided that now students seeking medical education at ÃÛÌÒÅ®º¢ can get a direct 3 year Visa. Therefore, this step further aims to ease their stay at the university.
